Science and STEM

The Science Department of the SULA MS322 seeks to provide a 21st Century education that is student-centered, inquiry-based, and allows students to function as responsible and contributing members of society.

STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.

STEM is more than just a program or an academic field. It is a mindset surrounding the belief that the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is essential to the long-term success of our students and our nation's future.

At SULA MS322, our team of teachers and administrators help foster a cross-curricular environment in which students become creative problem-solvers and engineers for life.
